Recycled Plastic Bottles to Create a Future Vegetable Garden
Objective: To recycle the plastics and also to teach the children how to make a vegetable garden.
Success criteria: The children create and show at least one live vegetable plant in a plastic bottle
Training: Caretaker will teach the children about soil and soil conditions, how to grow plants from seed or from vine etc. The caretaker will bring brochures about plant care for the children. The caretaker will show the children how to water the plants properly and how to make holes in the bottles for water to come out of the bottle, so the plant does not flood.
Time needed: 4 hours.
