Typhoid Awareness Workshop for the Sponsored Children
Typhoid recently spread widely in several areas. Some of our sponsored children were also affected. So, we hosted a typhoid awareness workshop for the sponsored children.
A bacterial infection causes typhoid. If it is not promptly and effectively treated, it could be fatal. The germs that cause this illness can enter the body through contaminated food or drink or by coming into contact with the mouth or nose while using contaminated hands. The best chance of a full recovery from typhoid is early identification. Therefore, it is imperative that everyone is aware of the causes and signs of typhoid. Through the program, our sponsored kids learned about these and created posters about them.
