Qurbani Meat Distribution Update
Qurbani means "sacrifice." On the festival of Eid-ul-Adha, Muslims worldwide sacrifice halal animals to show their devotion to Allah. One-third of the meat from such animals is provided to the less fortunate people of the community. This year, we also celebrated Eid with our sponsored children. Their Eid celebration is not like many of ours. They spend the entire day waiting for their parents to return home from work in the afternoon, hoping for some meat or anything special for Eid.
Therefore, we wanted to make their Eid special. We were able to share the joy of Eid with them thanks to the generosity of our donors. Our team members gave the Qurbani meat to our sponsored children. They were overwhelmed to have them. It was wonderful to see them being so happy. We want to thank our donors for making this possible.
