A Simple Act of Kindness Can Change a Child's Life!
Mirpur 12 Slum Field Visit (June 2022)
Our team went to Mirpur 12 slum to visit the area. We found that most of the children get to go to school only till primary level, as it's free and only a few continue their studies after primary level. However while our visit, we saw that many children did not go to school that day. Because, even though they do not have to pay the school fees, they are still deprived of many things. They cannot buy uniforms or any extra books that can help them with their studies. Because of these problems they often lose interest to go to school.
So, when we talked to the people there about our sponsorship program, they were very enthusiastic about it.
