Pohela Falgun is the first day of the Bengali month, Falgun, which denotes the start of the Spring. In Bangladesh,
we have various activities to celebrate the day and welcome the Spring. After the cold Winter, the arrival of the
Spring calls for a celebration!
We celebrated the day with our sponsored children this year. We had a “Pitha
Utshob” or Cake Festival in the slum. All the kids participated in the festival and enjoyed it a lot.
