Masum Billa Akhond completed his bachelor's and master's degrees combined in Islamic Studies from Madaninagar Madrasha under the board Al Haiatul Ulya Lil Jamiatil Qawmia Bangladesh (government-recognized combined Qawmi Madrasah Education Board of Bangladesh).
He completed his Ifta (a professional course on Islamic Law and Jurisprudence) from a reputed Islamic Law and Jurisprudence firm in Dhaka. He also completed the Hifzul Quran (memorizing the Holy Quran).
