Stand Together Against COVID-19 - at Shubornokhuli, Tebaria, Angarpara & Gobindopur, Khansama Upazilla, Dinajpur.

COVID Relief at Shubornokhuli, Khansama, Dinajpur

By the Grace of Almighty Allah, Shapla Foundation has pulled off yet another successful event of helping the victims of COVID-19. On July 28, 2020 we have distributed food products & detergent powder among 60 families of the villages of Shubornokhuli, Tebaria, Angarpara & Gobindopur under the Khansama upazilla in the district of Dinajpur. We have distributed food products among these families for an estimated duration of 7-10 days. The families were chosen based on these three demographics: aged, widow and handicapped.

The event was made successful with the active participation of Mr. Abu Sadat Mohammad Sayem and Mr. Shoyeb Hossain who helped us voluntarily. We are equally grateful to all other volunteers who made this event a success. The distribution process was designed in two different ways keeping in mind the ease of receiving and safety measures of the moment. For families of the villages close to our distribution center, we invited them to the venue and distributed the products; on the other hand, for those living in a more distant place, we supplied the products to each of them going from door to door.

But none of these would be possible to accomplish without the constant & generous support of each of our respected donors. We, at Shapla Foundation, are immensely grateful to you. We believe, agreat achievement only increases the responsibility further. We assure you that, with your continuedsupport, we will continue our effort to support those in need in this pandemic as well as the floodthat has hit most of Bangladesh, making people’s lives even more difficult.

Shapla Foundation plans to execute such events in future to reach out to these communities. Moreover, we are doing this independently i.e. we are not collaborating with any other organization. Therefore, we need your continuous support, to keep our continuous support, to theseunderprivileged communities of Bangladesh and help us all get through this crisis situation.
